Is it necessary to pay students for their athletic achievements?
Each year is always marked with students’ achievements in athletics. It is considered to be a profitable business. About forty million American dollars are usually made by educational establishments while students get nothing. In fact it’s not fair.
Ex fact it looks like they don’t need to do anything special, just play the ball and even get an opportunity to study for free or get scholarships, but in general it’s quite more serious.
When I watch school football matches during weekends and stare at stadiums filled with soothing fans that are always willing to spend much money on getting a chance to become a spectator of such events, I subconsciously think over unfair rules of running a business without paying to the workers.
To my mind it’s just the game without rules or a slave-labor. That’s not enough for all those young athletes to study for free and get some small benefits from taking part in competitions.
Anyways, it’s a hard work to play in school team. It takes you much time and efforts. Young athletes need to have much practice and study at the same time. Still young athletes have to study well and to succeed in sports so that they kept them in team.
In spite of being dog-tired and having no enthusiasm left for studies they need to keep struggling.
Thus sometimes all these factors can unfavorably influence young sportsmen career and life ambitions.
The problem of not paying young athletes for their sport achievements in spite of making money by universities and schools on the competitions they take part in still remains.
Young athletes deserve to be paid for their hard work. If they start paying young sportsmen, the number school athletes will increase. It will cause ceasing corruption and low progress in studies.
